homa, Bret made his home in Canyon Lake
and startedmaking the rounds with guitar in
hand. Bret is a simple man with simple tastes.
He plays regularly and serves as the MC for
the Gospel Brunch at Gruene Music Hall. His music will have
you dancing all night.

egant evening wear is encouraged for this event.
Vintage 15 takes their name literally, as their
music is built on the heritage of the Great American Song Book,
with the band playing a variety of jazz standards from legends
such as Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick, Jr., and Michael Bublé.
Austin’s premier big band brings the best live music around.

This dynamic show band performs your fa-
vorite Rock ‘n’ Roll hits from the 50’s, 60’s,
and 70’s. Surprise electrifying talents of rock
stars from the past will delight you on stage.
You can swivel your hips with Elvis, find a
pretty woman with Roy, and surf with the Beach Boys. The Off
the Record Band has been performing sine 1994 and always
provides a great night of fantastic dance music.
Cornell Hurd Band – Country Western
Friday, September 26, 7-10 p.m., SCB, $12 pp

The Cornell Hurd Band is considered one of
the elite Western swing dance bands in the
world. The band’s repertoire of western swing,
Texas standards, truck drivin’ music, rocka-
billy, boogie-woogie, and jitterbug is unrivaled.
In June of 2007 the Cornell Hurd Band performed at the an-
nual Red Cross Gala in Geneva, Switzerland.
