Victor Solimine, No. 1 Elvis impersonator in
Central Texas, will perform, sign autographs,
and pose for pictures with attendees. Victor
often works with local radio stations and appears on local televi-
sion stations, including a cameo appearance on the CBS Sunday
Morning News, broadcast fromNewYork. He has headlined on
CNN and People Magazine, and many local newspapers. Ben
Blaise, who played Buddy Holly at the Palace Theatre, will
also appear, sing, and dance with the ladies. The dance contest
returns with the jitterbug and cha cha as the featured dances.
Joe Harris, our DJ, will keep you dancing to songs from the ’50s
and ’60s, with a peek at music 50 to 60 years later. Finally—la-
dies, get your costumes ready for the costume parade, an N10
sock hop tradition.

Telescope) invented a tuning fork method of
classifying galaxies. Most galaxies fit some-
where on the tuning forkmodel. Other galaxies
have characteristics that make them stand
out as distinct types. Their sizes, shapes, structures, ages, and
companions make them “one of a kind” galaxies.

Death by Chocolate at the Food Book Fair
$5 entry fee
Calling all chocolate specialists and chocolate bakers! Purchase
a ticket for the Death by Chocolate Contest to be held at the Food
Book Fair on Friday, August 22. Create a delicious chocolate
item and a panel of chocolate experts will convene to judge your
creations and award prizes. All creations must be turned in by
12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 22.

- Each entry must include a form of chocolate.
The contest is limited to one entry per person. You will be
judged on taste and presentation.
• Expert Chocolate Judging Panel
- Entries will be judged
by a panel of chocolate experts.
