Rollin’ on the River:
Lake Austin Riverboat - NEW!
Sunday, November 10, $57 pp
Depart The Oaks 2:30 p.m.; Return 7:30 p.m.
Sit back and relax as we
do a little “Rollin’ on the River” this balmy
Sunday evening. We set sail just before sunset
on the The Commodore, an authentic stern-
wheel riverboat. We will cruise along the
shores of Lake Austin, up the river beyond the Pennypacker
Bridge and Mt. Bonnell, passing beautiful homes and scenery.
As the sun sets across the water, supper will be served buffet-
style by a full service staff in the main cabin. Menu is Hula
Hut’s famous Shiner Bock marinated beef and chicken fajitas,
Spanish rice, refried beans, lettuce, pico, cheese, sour cream,
chips and salsa. Dessert is fromHey Cupcake! and includes a
coffee bar. Sodas are included with dinner, and a cash bar will
be open throughout the cruise. Twinkling lights, a warm breeze
and soft tunes whisper as we head back down the shoreline
“rollin’… rollin’… rollin’ on the river.”

dinner.

Toyota Factory and Paloma Blanca - NEW!
Wednesday, November 13, $46 pp
Depart SCPL 9 a.m.; Return 6 p.m.
Join us for a great trip! After stop-
ping at the new Buc-ee’s on our way to San
Antonio, we’re off to see the Toyota Motor
Manufacturing plant. The Visitor’s Center
will provide a preview, and then we will visit
the factory where the Toyota Tundra and
Tacoma trucks are actually built. We each get our own adjust-
able headphone for this comfortable tour as we ride in a tram
with a very knowledgeable guide. Since this plant produces
an average of 800 vehicles a day and some of the work is done
by a robot, affectionately called “Godzilla,” you will see lots of
interesting activity going on.
Following the Toyota tour, we will go to Paloma Blanca for
delicious Mexican food. Zagat’s has given this restaurant a very
high rating, and it is well deserved. Meal includes chips and
salsa, salad, tres leches cake, and a beverage. Entrée choices
