you love to shop, then Barton Creek Square in Austin is the
destination for you. More than 180 specialty retailers and
anchor stores including Nordstrom, Dillard’s and Macy’s await
you. If you prefer to skip shopping, you can still escape the
July heat and go to the AMC 14 Theater that is located inside
the mall to catch an early movie.
Remember to purchase tickets for this outing at the Member

Broadway Across America presents
Flashdance - TheMusical at the historicMajes-
tic Theatre in San Antonio. This is the inspir-
ing and unforgettable story of Alex Owens, a
working-class girl from Pittsburgh with a dream of becoming a
professional dancer. She works by day as a steel mill welder and
a bar dancer at night while aspiring to be accepted at a pres-
tigious ballet academy. The original Paramount Pictures film
became a 1980s pop culture phenomenon and this production
will feature a score of hit songs from themovie, including the title
song, “Flashdance – What a Feeling,” “Maniac,” and “Gloria.”
After the show we will head to Mi Tierra Cafe and Bakery lo-
cated in the Market Square. This restaurant is a San Antonio
landmark and is well known for its authentic Mexican cuisine.
We will begin with appetizers of cheese quesadillas, miniature
chicken flautas, and bean and cheese nachos. Our dinner plate
will consist of a cheese enchilada, a crispy beef taco, guacamo-
le, Spanish rice, refried beans and a non-alcoholic beverage.

Hey girls, remember those Tupper-
ware Parties? Well, they’re back and so is
Dixie Longate, the fastest talking Tupper-
ware Lady south of the Mason-Dixon Line.
She’s packed up her catalogues and left her
children and her Alabama trailer park behind, and she’s tak-
ing America by storm. We are joining Dixie as she throws a
good ol’ fashioned Tupperware party filled with outrageously
funny tales and heartfelt accounts of her own parties. We’ll be
seated in the 200 seat Rollins Theatre inside the Long Center
in Austin for an up-close and personal “party.”
First we will have dinner at Roaring Fork, known for their
wonderful wood fire cooking. The meal begins with mouth-
watering corn muffins. Entrée choices are Rotisserie Chicken
with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach; Slow Roasted
Pulled Pork Carnitas with black beans and guacamole; or
