Calling all shopaholics andmovie lov-
ers! Escape the heat! If you love to shop, then
BartonCreekMall inAustin is the destination
for you. More than 180 specialty retailers and
anchor stores, including Nordstrom, Dillard’s
and Macy’s, await you. If you prefer to skip shopping, you can
still escape the July heat and go to the AMC 14 Theater located
inside the mall to catch an early movie.
Ticket cost includes transportation only. Lunch, all purchases,
and movie tickets are on your own.

operation began in Normandy, France, making this region the
most important location in the world at the time. Discover, in
breathtaking IMAX 3D, how this landing changed the world.
Exploring history, military strategy, science, technology and
human values, this filmwill educate and appeal to all. Narrated
by Tom Brokaw, this film pays tribute to those who gave their
lives for our freedom.
The 1968Exhibit
takes us through one of themost pivotal years of
the 20th century—a year filledwith significant historical events
from revolutionary film, television andmusic to groundbreaking
images of earth taken from the Apollo 8 space capsule. The social
forces that swirled through the turbulent 1960s crested in 1968,
a turning point for a generation coming of age and a nation at

Classic Garage in San Marcos.
Browse through a museum full of history and
heritage. Be it Vanished Texas Dinosaurs, Mummies -Unwrap-
ping the Past, or Texas Wild Ecology, the exhibits will educate
and amuse. The new H-E-B Body Adventure is an interactive
state-of-the-art adventure focused on getting the body up, moving
and inspiring a balanced life. Fairytale Fiesta (including “Queen
of the Court of Legends” gown) displays a world of fantasy Fiesta
gowns inspired by fairytales, myths andmagic. If TexasHeritage
is your passion, explore AWild and Vivid Land: Stories of South
Texas. This exhibit blends artifacts, museum technology and
real-life stories tracing the history of San Antonio and South
