JaniceMaynard is a traditional country artist
straight from the heart of Texas. She has been
likened to some of the greatest classic country
female singers of all time, yet has a distinct
country voice that’s all her own. Born into a
musical family, and then later marrying into one, Janice has
made singing country music a way of life.
Jean-Pierre & the Zydeco Angels

Jean-Pierre, born in France, said: “These days
many zydeco fans are only familiar with the
newer style of the music, usually played on the
Cajun accordion, but I still play the older style
that was established by Clifton Chenier years
ago. I like the older style because the music has different beats
and rhythms and it is played on the big accordion, which is not
as musically limited as the Cajun accordion.”

homa, Bret made his home in Canyon Lake
and startedmaking the rounds with guitar in
hand. Bret is a simple man with simple tastes.
He plays regularly and serves as the MC for
the Gospel Brunch at Gruene Music Hall. His
music will have you dancing all night.

The Cornell Hurd Band is considered one
of the elite Western swing dance bands in
the world. The band’s repertoire of western
swing, Texas standards, truck drivin’ music,
rockabilly, boogie-woogie, and jitterbug is un-
rivaled. In June of 2007 the Cornell Hurd Band performed at
the annual Red Cross Gala in Geneva, Switzerland.
