‘A Christmas Story’ at Zach Theater

. Based on the classic holiday film,
young Ralphie and his quest for the Red Ryder
B. B. Gun comes to life on stage. Visions of
pink bunny suits, tongues stuck on flagpoles,
turkey-loving dogs and Pop’s beloved fishnet leg lamp will
make all your sugar-plum Christmas wishes come true. Cute,
wholesome entertainment...a time when happiness was just
a Christmas gift away.
Following the matinee, we will stop at The Domain shopping
center. Decked out in holiday finery, you will find an array
of dining choices for dinner on your own and a little time for
window shopping. Come along for a magical holiday afternoon,
where even the ‘ole Grinch, with his Grinch-sized heart, will
find a smile spreading across his face.

Events Center in Austin and enjoy an eve-
ning of music featuring Debby Boone’s
Re-
flections of Rosemary
. This performance is
an intimate, deeply heartfelt tribute to her
late mother-in-law, legendary singer Rosemary Clooney. The
cabaret-style seating will enhance the show – a touching
musical portrait filled with a collection of standards chosen
for their significance in Debby Boone’s life with the legendary
Clooney. “I wanted to select songs that would give an insight
into Rosemary from a family perspective, and from the more
than 30 years that I spent with her,” says Boone.
Begin your evening with dinner at Carmello’s Ristorante Ital-
iano with a delicious house salad, followed by the combination
plate of lasagna, rigatoni with veal meatballs, tortellini with
cream sauce, mushrooms, peas and homemade Italian sausage.
This wonderful meal is complemented with the tiramisu and
chocolate cake for dessert. Coffee, tea, tax and gratuities are
included. This restaurant has a romantic ambience and was
originally built in the 1870’s.
