store. The limestone rubble walls date back to 1872.
Our sumptuous meal will begin with their tossed green salad,
followed by a half portion of Grilled Salmon with raspberry
chipotle sauce and a half portion of their specialty, Chicken
Poppicotti. The chicken breast is stuffed with cheese, spinach,
pecans and topped with hollandaise sauce. Also included in the
meal are roasted new potatoes, rice pilaf and veggie medley.
Iced tea and coffee are included with an option to purchase
other beverages. Our chef will decide on dessert. We always
love a surprise!
After dinner, weather permitting, we will walk along Sixth
Street for the sights and sounds of this unique area. If the
weather does not cooperate, then I will give you a driving tour
complete with a history of Austin.
Our transportation will be in the small bus without some of
the usual amenities, but very cozy. Only 26 tickets will be sold.
Ticket cost includes transportation and dinner. Deadline to

love story. The musical features an original pop score. The
musical’s tale of everlasting love is thrilling entertainment
for audiences of all ages.
Adapted from the hit film, the musical follows Sam and Molly,
a young couple whose connection takes a shocking turn after
Sam’s untimely death. Trapped between two worlds, Sam refuses
to leave Molly when he learns she is in grave danger. Desperate
to communicate with her, he seeks the help of a phony psychic
who helps him protect Molly and avenge his death.
Before the performance, shopping and dinner (on your own) will
be at the historic and famous El Mercado Market Square. The
rich culture of San Antonio abounds throughout the plazas of
Market Square, a three-block outdoor plaza lined with restau-
rants, shops and produce. It is the largest Mexicanmarket in the
U.S. Dinner will be on your own at the restaurant of your choice.

at the mall food court and do a little window shopping. We will
stop at Buc-ee’s on our way home, where you will have time to
purchase sandwiches and snacks to eat on the bus.
Note: There are steps down to the Riverwalk and the
Mall Center. The Mall entrance is one block fromwhere
the bus will drop us off and pick us up.

SAS Factory Tour & El Mercado - NEW!

First we will head to the San An-
tonio market square where you can grab an
early lunch or do some shopping at El Mer-
cado, the largest Mexican shopping center in
the city. Your early lunch choices include Mi Tierra Café &
Bakery, La Margarita Restaurant and Oyster Bar, or one of
the food vendors in the market.
Next we will go to the SAS Factory and General Store for
a tour of their handcrafted shoes. Most of their shoes have
polyurethane soles that cushion your feet on millions of tiny
air bubbles so you are literally walking on air. In 1998, they
developed a General Store with a complete line of SAS shoes
and handbags. Gradually, a kitchen, a candy store and an ice
cream parlor emerged. Vintage cars and early farm equipment
are displayed around the store.
Ticket cost includes transportation, SAS Factory tour includ-
ing a chance to win a pair of shoes, and time to shop in the
San Antonio market.
