JULY 2013
ONLINE:
SCTXCA.ORG
since so many of our members travel
during the summer. On July 3 at noon,
we will have our “Brats at the Barn”
potluck lunch for members and their
guests. Registration will be online.
With summer temperatures comes the
slow time at the Gardens; about all
that’s growing are okra and eggplant.
Now’s the time when your bed should
be allowed to “rest” and you can think
about what amendments are needed to
prep for the fall growing season. The
Greenhouse is also planning what they
will grow for fall vegetable gardens, so
check to see if they will be growing your
favorites!
