The Singers are busy rehearsing for the
Independence Day concert, to be held
on Wednesday, July 3, at 11 a.m. in the
Sun City Ballroom. Tickets will go on
sale Monday, June 3 (the first business
day in June) online and at the Member
Services Office. Tickets will once again
be reserved seats, so get them early for
the best selection. This is part of the
4th of July celebration held each year
in Sun City – a wonderful way to honor
those who served and are serving our
country. Join your neighbors to hear a
heartwarming concert of patriotic songs,
including a couple of surprises.
Singers, please note that rehearsals
on May 21 and June 11 will be held
at the Cowan Creek Amenity Cen-
ter
rather than the Sun City Ballroom.
New members are welcome to join Sing-
ers when we begin rehearsing for the
Christmas concert in late August. All
that is required is a love of singing and
a commitment to attend most rehearsals.

Upcoming Social Events
Cruisin’ on the S S Solos!
We often hear that living is Sun City is
like being aboard a docked luxury lin-
er. On Wednesday, May 22, Solos will
board our very own “luxury cruise liner”
docked in the Social Center Ballroom.
Enjoy a Meet ‘n Greet, Captain’s Din-
ner, Lounge Show, and more! Dress for
dinner or as a tacky tourist, but “come
aboard, we’re expecting you!” Additional
info coming via member email.
Thirsty Thursday
is each week, a so-
cial event at the Oaks from 5 – 6:30 p.m.
where Solos meet for fun, fellowship and
sometimes food. Newcomers are warmly
welcomed! Our Membership Committee
will greet and introduce you to some of
our Solos.
Whether you are new to Sun City, re-
cently single or just want to be a part
of Solos, check us out on the Sun City
Texas website to find out more about our
club and make us a part of your family
of friends.
