The Woodworkers Club is open to all Sun
City residents of all skill levels. All new
members are required to take an Orienta-
tion and Safety Class plus a one-on-one
hands-on Safety Training/Review.
Our training classes and extensive library
help our members enjoy woodworking.
We have several main projects during the
year: “Toys for Tots,” to provide toys for
less fortunate children at Christmas, and
“Camp Discovery,” to provide wooden kit
projects to an American Cancer Society
summer camp for children fighting cancer.
To raise funds for these projects, we do
furniture repair for Sun City Texas resi-
dents and participate in the Hill Country
Arts and Craft Fair in the fall.
