and will offer tours of the garden, high-
lighting the new automated greenhouse.
For those interested in renting one of the
265 raised garden beds, information will
be provided at the event. A rain date is
scheduled for Sunday, February 24 from
2-4 p.m.
The club is also getting ready for its
Spring Plant Sale scheduled for Sat-
urday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
at the garden. Vegetables, herbs, and
perennial and annual plants will be on
sale. Special plant orders will be taken
between 9-11 a.m. on Saturdays, March
2, 9 and 16 only.
The club also sells bagged organic com-
post and mulch every Thursday and
Saturday mornings from 9-11 a.m. year-
round. Monies raised from the biannual
plant sales and the club’s participation
in the Sun City Garage Sales funds all
Horticulture Club activities and projects.
