DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists the Computer Club President in the overall executive direction of the Computer Club by providing advice and counsel, participating in policy and procedural decisions, and serving as Club Secretary.

Keeps all minutes and records of the meetings of the membership and of the Executive Board. Issues notice of all meetings, and furnish the Community Association with periodic or special reports, as necessary or required. Conducts correspondence relating to the Club; ensures that the Secretary’s Records are retained for three years and, upon leaving office, passes the records to his or her successor.

REPORTS TO:

The Club President, who provides overall objectives and guidance. The Secretary is expected to exercise initiative in accomplishing objectives within the policies establish by the Executive board.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Overall knowledge of the Computer Club organization and functions. Organizational and communication skills; ability to plan and administer Secretary functions; and skill in establishing interpersonal relationships.
