chateau held by top Nazi officers. Since no
“normal” GI can be expected to volunteer for
this mission, Reisman is compelled to draw
his personnel from a group of military prisoners serving life
sentences. The cast includes: Telly Savalas , John Cassavetes,
Donald Sutherland, Charles Bronson, Trini Lopez, JimBrown,

Sun City Singers Concert:

The Sun City Singers proudly present their
spring concert titled “What aWonderfulWorld.”
This performance will include songs for every-
one: familiar toe tapping rhythms, uplifting
spirituals, nostalgic melodies and a rousing
audience sing-along. You will be delighted as we take you from
the Deep South to Broadway, from a woodland campfire to the
mountains of Austria, from River City to Ireland and other far-
away places. It really is a great big “…Wonderful World.”
The concert will be performed on April 23 and 24 at 7 p.m. in the
Social Center Ballroom. Tickets are $8 per person for reserved

‘Butterflies, Birds and Blooms’ - The Sixth
Annual Sun City Garden Tour - NEW!

Presented by the Sun City Texas Garden Club,
the tour includes seven designated Sun City
Texas yards and the Sun City Texas Organic
Horticulture Gardens in full spring bloom.
There’s no better way to get good ideas for your
yard than to see what others are doing! And, net proceeds go to
area charities, so it’s all for a good cause.
You can take the tour on your own schedule during tour hours
on either Saturday or Sunday, but you must check in The Oaks
at Legacy Hills Golf Course for maps, directions and a wrist-
band, which will provide admission to each of the yards. At The
Oaks, there will be a complimentary lemonade and coffee shop.
A silent auctionwill be ongoing and youwill have an opportunity
to purchase potted plants, which have been specially designed
and arranged by Garden Club members. Advance ticket sales
at $10 each are available online and at the Member Services
Office beginning March 3. On the days of the tour, tickets can
be purchased for $15 at The Oaks.
