The Communications Department will be printing the
next Sun City Texas Resourse Guide and Directory
in May, and we want to be sure that your information
will be correct so that all your friends and neighbors
can contact you. The Resident list used in the printed
directory is pulled from the Online directory; therefore,
it is very important to make sure your information is
correct on the Sun City Texas website.
• Go to
• Log in with your member ID and password
• Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Update Your Profile link
in the blue footer
Your information will be displayed.
(Note: Each person in a household has
their own separate profile.)
Review the information to see if it is correct; if it
is incorrect, please update your profile with the correct information. If you need
further assistance, go to the Member Services Office and they can make the change
or give you a form to fill out to get the change made for you.
If you plan to change your email provider in the next year,
do it now
so that your
information will be correct in the new Directory!

There will be a Golf Talk TownHall
on Thursday, March 13, from 3-5
p.m. in the Social Center Ballroom.
This town hall is an opportunity for
residents to meet the golf operations
staff, and to learnmore about golf in
Sun City Texas. Everyone is invited
to attend. For more information, see
page 62 in the Golf section.
Investment Fraud
Town Hall
Friday, March 14, 1 p.m., SCB
Joseph Rotunda, the Director of the
Enforcement Division of the Texas
State Securities Board, will speak
to Sun City Texas residents on
Friday, March 14 about the warn-
ing signs of investment fraud and
what investors should do if they
suspect they have been defrauded.
The presentation starts at 1 p.m. in
the Social Center Ballroom.
Mr. Rotunda will explain how
investors can defend themselves
against promoters of fraudulent or
inappropriate investments by being
aware of the tactics they use, by
carefully checking all the invest-
ment material they provide, and
by investigating their credentials
before committing any money to
the investment opportunity.
Mr. Rotunda will also highlight
specific types of risky investments
the State Securities Board has re-
cently investigated or prosecuted,
including various types of promis-
sory notes and high-yield offerings,
oil and gas projects, life settlement
investments, and private offerings.
Also, attendees will learn how to
make sure that a person who is
selling securities is registered in
Texas, as generally required by law.
