Long Center Tour
and Trailer Food Tuesday – NEW!

Have you ever wonderedwhat the
stars’ dressing room at the Long Center looks
like or where they enter? Why are those vents
on the floor and why did they use this design"
And why is it named the Long Center" We’ll
find out the answers to all of those questions andmanymore facts
and tidbits about the gorgeous Long Center in our 45-minute tour
of the facility. This five-year-old center, that sits so uniquely on
the shore of Lady Bird Lake, is a true work of art complimenting
the works of ‘live art’ held in the center.
After the tour, it’s time to eat. We will head to the City Terrace
fronting the Long Center where you are on your own to feast
from a variety of eateries known as the Food Trailers. What
an adventure! Bring your appetite because 8-10 trucks will be
rolling onto the Terrace and of course, they all have something
you must try.
Bring cash³they do not take charge cards.
This will be picnic-style,
so bring your own chair or blanket.
They will have soda to purchase or you may bring your own.
Note: This tour involves steps, standing, and walking
so wear appropriate shoes and know your limitations.
Ticket cost includes transportation and tour. Deadline to purchase
tickets is May 23.

Bat Cruise – Austin – NEW!

One of Austin’s favoritemantras is
“.eep Austin Weird.” And one of the weirder
opportunities Austin has to offer is bat-watch-
ing. When 1.5millionMexican free-tailed bats
fly out fromunder the Congress Avenue Bridge,
all eyes are on the sky, and we will have the best vantage point
to see them.
Before the “show,” we will visit another Austin favorite—food
trailers! We will drive down South 1st Street to the South Aus-
tin Trailer Park and Eatery, where you will be on your own to
enjoy Torchy’s Tacos, Conscious Cravings (veggie offerings), and
Holy Cacao (dessert). A short walk will take you to Gourdough’s
(gourmet donuts) and Dock and Roll (lobster rolls).
After having our fill of fabulous trailer food, we will proceed to
the Lone Star Riverboat dock, where we will enjoy an hour-long
sunset cruise on lovely Lady Bird Lake, seeing the sights along
the lake and the dramatic cityscape. Just as the cruise is starting
