Take a virtual trip this holiday season to
Jerusalem, one of the world’s most important
cities, held sacred by three religious traditions. Depart SCPL 4 p.m.; Return 11 p.m.
National Geographic’s production team takes
us on an awe-inspiring 3D aerial tour of the city’s most sacred
sites, and renowned archaeologist Dr. Jodi Mangess will lead us
underground to solve some of Jerusalem’s greatest mysteries.
Discover why this city continues to stir the imaginations of
millions of people of faith as you experience this unique and
stunning cinematic experience.
Following the show, we will explore the new Rock Rose District
at The Domain for lunch and a bit of shopping. This new area
features a wonderful selection of smaller more eclectic restaurants,
some originating from Austin’s food trailer scene. You will also
find one of a kind boutiques as you wind your way down to the
new Nordstrom’s which is sure to be decorated in seasonal finery.
NOTE: Lunch stop will be at 1:30 p.m. after the show.

Who doesn’t like Fredericksburg,
the gem of the Hill Country? Enjoy this
charming city, decked out in its Christmas
finery, where you will have two hours to explore
over 150 shops and restaurants and have lunch on your own
before we head to the Fredericksburg Theatre.
The production is It’s a Wonderful Life, set in Manhattan,

Christmas Eve 1948, at a radio station where a cast has gathered
to perform before a live radio audience. This familiar story
takes on a whole new meaning as a small ensemble brings the
characters to life, via the radio. As you listen and observe the
characters, you will remember George Bailey, his family and his
struggles, and the true meaning of Christmas.
On the way home, we will drive around the Blanco County
Courthouse with its 100,000 lights. We will not stop for dinner
so feel free to bring snacks and water for the return trip.

musical extravaganza. This inspiring, original
adaptation of Charles Dickens’ beloved holiday
classic features a traditional Victorian setting, gorgeous period
costumes and a musical score that combines spectacular re-
imagined carols and surprising time-bending classics. A little
gospel, soul and rock-n-roll, will whisk you away on a captivating
ride with the three soulful ghosts in Scrooge’s dream world. So,
don’t be a Grinch, come along! Let’s make a joyful noise, catch
the holiday spirit, and celebrate A Christmas Carol – Zach style.
Our pre-show dinner stop will be at The Domain which features
a variety of upscale eateries, pubs and kitchy food trailers. Maps
and menu suggestions will be provided.
