Christmas Lights Tour – Belton - NEW!

Holiday magic has returned to the
park lands along the shores of Lake Belton and
created a winter wonderland. Nature in Lights
features over 130 holiday-themed displays that
spread across the land like twinkling jewels in the night, each
a bit bigger and brighter. This drive-thru extravaganza winds
through the park for over 5 ½ miles ending in a spectacular
tunnel of lights more than 500 feet long.
Our pre-tour dinner stop will be Clem Mikeska’s BBQ. With a
signature blend of seasonings added to their smoking process,
Mikeska’s is known for serving some of the most authentic BBQ
in Texas. When you purchase your ticket, choose sliced brisket,
sausage or smoked turkey for your Bubba BBQ Sandwich. All
dinners will include onions, pickles, jalapenos, Clem’s BBQ sauce,
coleslaw, peach cobbler with ice cream, and iced tea.

Depart SCPL 3:45 p.m.; Return 9:30 p.m.
In the center of downtown, Second
Street is surrounded by all that is unique to
Austin – City Hall, ACL Moody Theatre and
the Willie Nelson statue plus numerous locally
owned specialty shops and restaurants. Explore the shops and
admire their storefront art installations on the small, local shop
windows. Artists include design students from St. Edwards
University and the University of Texas. You are on your own to
stroll along the streets and dine at one of the many restaurants.
(Restaurant list with prices and food genres to be provided.) You
might want to peek inside the W Hotel and the new Marriott
Hotel to see their decorations.
Then we will move on to The Four Seasons Hotel to view their
one of a kind Gingerbread Village. Since 2005, this is one of the
city’s most popular holiday activities overseen by the Executive
