Globular clusters are composed of older yellow
stars that orbit above and below the halo of the
MilkyWay. Galactic clusters are stars that group together and
orbit only in the plane of the Milky Way disk.

Activities with Jenny
Our Lifestyle and Activities Depart-
ment often receives “frequently asked
questions.” Here are some of those
FAQs with answers:
• May I bring beverages and
snacks to a CA Sponsored
dance or event?
Yes, you may bring drinks and
snacks for yourself, and if you would like, enough to
share with your table. While all of our CA Dances
have tables, the only CA Events with tables will be
those that are marked ‘cabaret style.’ If the event
is marked ‘theater style’ there will be no tables, so
you might have to store your bottle under your chair.
• How do I knowwhich events or dances are CA
Sponsored?
All CA Sponsored Events have the Sun
City Logo next to them. (These are included in the
Events section, pages 15-18.) CA Sponsored Dances
are listed separately on page 19. CA Outings are
listed in their own section on pages 20-28, and CA
Sponsored Travel is listed on pages 84-85.
• How many tickets may I purchase to a CA
Sponsored Event or Dance?
Up to 10 tickets per
household.
• Howmany tickets may I purchase to a CA Out-
ing?
Up to 4 tickets per household.
• Does a person have to live in Sun City to be
my guest?
No, your guests do not have to live in
Sun City. You are welcome to purchase tickets for
your friends outside of Sun City.
• May I purchase tickets for children?
In general,
the answer is no. Occasionally, a show or program
or bus outing may be child-friendly; in such cases,
this will be stated in the Sun Rays articles and/or
through eblasts. Dances are not suitable for children.
• May I tip the volunteer trip leaders and hospi-
tality volunteers?
All of our volunteers are amaz-
ing! They are volunteering to serve you. Your thanks
and praise is the tip that keeps them going!
