businesses and restaurants. An elevator ride to the top of the
tallest building in the city will provide a panoramic view of
Houston. We will switch venues so that both groups get to eat
and tour the underground. Afterwards, we will return to the
hotel, where you may choose to go to Town and Country mall
or to a restaurant near the hotel for dinner on your own.
Saturday:
After hotel breakfast (included) we will go to the
HoustonMuseum of Natural Science. It will be a glorious finale
to our trip, because following this we will head home to Sun City!
Ticket cost includes transportation, hotel, tour admissions, 2
breakfasts, and 1 lunch.

Fredericksburg, and Wild Seed Farm

Tuesday, March 31, $25 pp
Depart SCPL 8:30 a.m.; Return 6:30 p.m.
Gardeners, shoppers and
history buffs will find something of interest
on this trip! Our first stop is Wild Seed
Farms for a leisurely tour of the grounds. Visit
the nursery; check out the award-winning
wildflower seeds, garden accessories, specialty foods, and many
other items. Pick up wildflower seeds to scatter or plant around
your home. After ninety minutes at the Farms we will then
leave for downtown Fredericksburg for lunch on your own,
shopping at the over 150 shops and enjoying the sites this award
winning town has to offer. There are many choices for lunch
and comfortable areas for sitting and people watching while
you make new friends, and there will be plenty of storage on
the bus for your purchases.
Save room for pie and coffee! After touring Fredericksburg
we will stop for “Pie Happy Hour” at the famous Blue Bonnet
Café in Marble Falls.

What could be nicer on a spring day than
a drive through bluebonnet country? First we
will visit the Hangar Hotel in Fredericksburg,
a one-of-a-kind hotel that looks like an airplane
hangar fromWWII on the city airport grounds.
Once inside, take a step back in time to the 1940s as we tour
the opulent rooms, the Observation Deck where we can watch
