CA NEWS
According to the Farmer’s Almanac, the com-
ing months have wetter days and cooler tem-
peratures in store for us. Keep an eye on the
weather forecasts and reduce or turn off your
irrigation controllers accordingly.
The City of Georgetown has two programs
available to help youmonitor your water use:
•
Aquamessenger
sends you AquaAlert notifications once your
water consumption has reached a predetermined threshold,
set by you. To learn more and sign up, visit georgetown.org/
secure/aquamessenger.php.
•
GUARD
(Georgetown Utility Analysis and Reporting Door-
way) is an intranet site providing easy to use tools that help
you learn about and manage your utility consumption. You
can log on at guard.georgetown.org/index.php
As always, a Sun City Water Ambassador is willing to help you
with any of these tasks. Your Neighborhood Representative can
put you in contact with your area’s Water Ambassador.
Permitted watering days are as follows:
Odd addresses: Tuesday and/or Saturday
Even addresses: Wednesday and/or Sunday
No sprinkler or irrigation system use is permitted
on Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays.

Water Matters
Submitted by Carlton M. Mathis, Water Management
We are pleased to report that the new web-
site for the Community Association and the
150 Club, Neighborhood and Committee mi-
crosites is coming together nicely. We are on
schedule for launch early next year and we
will hold several training sessions in Janu-
ary and February to introduce residents to
the new website. The design of the site and
the build of its public and private pages are
complete; and the build of the Chartered
Club and Neighborhood microsites is in prog-
ress. Resident editors will receive training
in December and January so that they can
update their Club or Neighborhood microsite
prior to launch.
