Ticketing system to pay both, starting
Monday, November 4.
After logging in with your Sun City Tex-
as member number and password, go to
Ticketing > Club Memberships, and scroll
down the list to find “Horticulture Club”
and click on the icon. Follow the normal
procedures as you would to purchase
other tickets. If you are also paying your
bed rental, you need to click on Continue
Shopping and purchase that, too. Finally,
go to Checkout to pay with a credit card.
If, for any reason, you cannot use this
automated system or do not wish to use
a credit card, you can pay via check made
payable to “SCTXCA-123;” the check
should be mailed to: Sun City Horticul-
ture Club, 2 Texas Drive, Georgetown, TX
78633―
or
dropped off at the CAMonitor’s
Desk in an envelope marked “Sun City
Horticulture Club.”

Meetings:
The monthly meeting is
November 12 in the Ballroom. We will
watch a film produced by Texas Parks
& Wildlife entitled “The State of the
Gulf,” showcasing current environmen-
tal issues in the Gulf of Mexico.
Membership:
Annual dues are $12
for single person; $20 for two persons
in the household. Sign up and pay on-
line or at the Member Services Office.

Fishing:
View upcoming fishing trips
on the website. Outings include crappie
trips, black bass trips and several spe-

Hunting:
Deer and quail season are
underway. The club has arrangements
for quail hunting with an outfitter in
Dime Box, about an hour from Sun
City. If you have not planned a deer
hunt, opportunities are still available.

Sport shooting:
Members organize
events/outings at Best of the West near
Liberty Hill that include skeet, trap
and sporting clays, and pistol shooting.
Skeet and trap shooting occurs every

at a variety of targets in various scenar-
ios occurs first Fridays at 9 a.m. Target
shooting is the first and third Wednes-
days; we meet at the Legacy Hills Pa-

Investment Club SIGs meet the
second and third Thursdays of each month
from 1-3 p.m. in Meeting Rooms 1 & 2 of
the Activities Center. The club’s dual-track
discussions will focus on: (1) Introduction
to Investing; and (2) Advanced Investment

Do you like music and dance? Come join
us. Various dance styles are incorporated
into “lines” and danced to a variety of
musical genres. You don’t need a partner.
New and prospective members are en-
couraged to start on the first Wednesday
of the month. Residents are welcome to
attend three times before joining.
Our
Annual General Membership
Meeting
will be on Wednesday, Novem-
ber 6, immediately following the Level 1
class. New officers will be elected at this
time. All club members are encouraged to
participate in this very important event.

meet in the Atrium from 6-8 p.m. on the
first, third, and fifth Thursdays of each
month. All Line Dance Club members
are welcome to participate in the Pat-
tern Dance sessions. Pattern dancing
is done by couples, but is not limited
to male and female partners. It is done
counterclockwise on the perimeter of
the dance floor utilizing many of the
same steps employed in line dancing.
