We have several main projects during
the year, including: “Toys for Tots,” to
provide toys for less fortunate children
at Christmas; and “Camp Discovery,” to
provide wooden kit projects to an Ameri-

children fighting cancer. To raise funds

Social Activities
Zoomers has very active social groups
which include those with special interest
in books, table games, bowling, mov-
ies, dining out, gourmet cooking, and
wine and beer tasting. There is also a
group that sponsors a luncheon with a
speaker focusing on health, beauty and/
or wellness.
ZOE (Outside Events)
Our ZOE volunteers are arranging great
outings for the Christmas season, and
putting the final touch on the extended
trips for the spring/summer of 2014. We
always send out an email announcing
each excursion, including all the details
of the trip and the individual Zoomers vol-
unteer in charge, so you can contact them
individually if you have any questions.
Our extended trips fill up very quickly,
so sign up as soon as possible. All trips
have one of our volunteers onboard. You
will never be travelling on your own with
a Zoomers program.
