PREVIOUS OCCUPATION:
Robert retired from IBM
and then worked with Caroline at B & C Trophies &
Engraving. They sold B&C in 2000 and opened Yours for
Keeps Awards &Engraving in Georgetown. They’ve since
sold that business and have been retired for five years.
HOBBIES:
Robert loves to play billiards. Of course,
tennis is their first love. They have also been fostering
kittens from the Georgetown Animal Shelter.
LOVE OF THE GAME:
Robert and Caroline met through
tennis and were married on Tennis Court 1 of Balcones
Tennis Club 27 years ago. They have played in lots of
mixed doubles and husband-and-wife tournaments all over
Texas, as well as USTA mixed leagues. They still enjoy
playing mixed together (which is something that a lot of
married couples don’t seem to be able to do). They also
play men’s and women’s doubles on USTA teams that
travel and play all over the Austin area. Caroline and
Robert love tennis for the social, mental and physical
benefits it provides and hope they will be able to continue
playing for many years to come.
