he raced sailboats.
WHY HE ENJOYS PICKLEBALL:
It’s fun, doable and highly entertain-
ing. Pat said that the tennis players
are sometimes upset by the amount
of laughter coming from the pickleball
courts. Here’s an example for all of us:
Pat is 85 years old, alert and active. If
70 is the new 40, I’d say Pat is no more
than 45. He is spirited, funny and kind.
He and his wife, Marty, do more than
just exist, they contribute and improve
the quality of life in Sun City Texas. It
was a pleasure to meet them.
