Activities with Jenny
A common question we get about sold out out-
ings is: “Will a second bus be added?” This is
not always possible since most of our events
are planned six or more months in advance.
One of our recent sold out outings was a trip
to Bass Concert Hall to see
The Lion King
.
Since we knew this Broadway musical would
be popular, your volunteer trip coordinators planned two outings
on two separate dates. Within days of the first business day of
the month, when ticket sales opened for
The Lion King
– both
dates of Lion King were sold out. We couldn’t add a second bus
to each date, since we had purchased
The Lion King
tickets
more than six months prior to the trip. On some trips we can
add an additional bus if time and fees allow, but in most cases
for theater trips or outings where the volunteer trip planner
