Play is in the Salado Room at the Cowan
Creek Amenity Center all day Saturdays
and Sundays, and from 1-5 p.m. Tues-
days and Thursdays. We also play there
when the room is not otherwise scheduled
(check the room schedule on the Sun City
web site or at the CC monitor’s desk).
You’re most welcome to come over and
play, or just watch. If no one’s there play-
ing, the tables are in the closet and are
easy to set up and take down; paddles
and balls are in the cabinets. Advice and
information is always available from any
of our members playing.
If you are the last ones playing,
please make sure you put the tables
and equipment away when finished.
Our club website has lots more informa-
tion: club news, events, tournaments,
photos, table tennis lessons, and great
table tennis videos you can download.
Dues are $10 for tournament play, club
social events, etc. Members can also
train with our robot (call Joe DeBell for
instructions).
The club’s
Groundhog Day Party
will
be from 2-8 p.m. on Saturday, February
2, in the Georgetown and Florence Rooms
at Cowan Creek. The next TT Club Board
Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb-
ruary 13 at 10 a.m. in CCW. Members
invited. The next
Club Tournament
will be all day Saturday, March 16.
Table Tennis, an Olympic sport and a
great aerobic exercise, not only keeps you
fit but keeps your reflexes and eye-hand
coordination sharp. Besides, it’s fun!
