Aviation Club
Saturday, February 9, 8:30 a.m., ACA
Contact: Bud Farrell, 591-7731
Become a member of one of Sun City’s
oldest chartered clubs. The Aviation Club
began when two retired pilots met for
coffee and conversation at the old Legacy
Hills cafe. Aviation brings folks together,
so they can recall and reminisce about
days when they and their friends and
colleagues were more actively involved
in the industry. All are invited to visit;
membership is not limited to pilots, but to
anyone with an interest in aircraft, avia-
tion history or the aviation community.
Dues are $12 a year.
Members meet on the second Saturday of
each month at 8:30 a.m. for a social time
of coffee and donut holes in the Atrium
of the Activities Center. An interesting
program is presented along with time for
questions and answers and additional
discussions concerning the content of the
programs.

Tickets are now available for Sun City’s
annual Follies. This year’s production,
20th Century Follies
, is a musical tribute
to the ten decades of the 20th century.
Relive this amazing century by travel-
ing down memory lane with the talented
Sun City performers through the decades
from the 1900s to 1999. Remember
Vaudeville? Sitting by the radio? This
show is dedicated to those wonderful
years. The actors and singers will take
you with them as they perform songs
such as “Sentimental Journey,” “Bye
Bye Blackbird,” patriotic army songs
and current songs. Enjoy classic dance
routines from Sun City dance groups
like the “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” and
“Rock Around the Clock.” Sun City is
known for its outstanding talent and it
will be an action-packed night guaran-
teed to please with laughter, skits, and
great music. Show dates are Monday,
February 25 through Saturday, March 2.
Tickets are $14 and can be purchased on-
line, at the CA Office, or at the door each
night, if available. Music is performed by
the fabulous Band of the Century.
20th
