Supporting Georgetown High School
Eagles!
Join the boosters and help us actively
support all Georgetown High School
athletic programs. Your attendance at
their sporting events means so much to
these young athletes and shows them
that their community is behind them.
February is the most exciting month of
the basketball season. Girls and boys
teams at Georgetown High School are
playing hard to finish strong in the 2011-
2012 season. Their goal is to win district
and move on to participate in the Texas
state playoff games.

Do you play Euchre? Do you want to learn
how to play Euchre? Our Euchre group
meets on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.
in the Activities Center Game Rooms 1
and 2. Instruction is available for new
players. Euchre is a fast-paced card game
that involves bidding and trump suits.
Each player receives five games out of a
24 card deck. Four cards are placed face
down in the middle. The highest bidder
gets to look at the four extra cards and
exchange them for any other four cards
from his hand. The winner is the player
that achieves 10 points first. It’s fun and
fast. Complete rules are posted on the
web site listed above.
2013 dues are $6 per year, which covers
all activities listed.

Even though Sun City residents attend
baseball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soc-
cer, softball, tennis, and track, we still do
not have organized group outings to these
events. The Boosters are looking for men
or women to help promote our Sun City
support of these and any other athletic
endeavor of the Georgetown High School.
Join the Sun City Eagle Boosters. Mem-
bership is only $10 per person. Newmem-
bers may join from January 1 through
June 30 for prorated dues of only $5.
