The Garden Club is the place to learn
how to have a water-wise Sun City yard
where plants, trees and lawns thrive and
bring you lots of enjoyment. Our Febru-
ary meeting will feature master garden-
ers who can answer your questions about
some of your gardening challenges and
give you ideas about what to plant.
Also on our agenda will be a “Plant of the
Month” and “February Gardening Tips.”
The meeting will start with a social at
12:30 p.m. where you can enjoy sweet
treats while viewing a slideshow of the
February Yard of the Month, honoring
homeowners Karen and Ken Martin at
109 Travis Drive. A photo of their yard
can be seen in the “Around Sun City” sec-
tion in the back of this month’s
Sun Rays
.
Are you looking forward to spring? Mark
your calendars for May 3-4. The Sun
City Garden Club will sponsor a Garden
Tour to benefit local charities. We are
still seeking yards to feature on the tour.
Contact
if you
would like to volunteer your yard for this
fun and worthwhile event.
