Mission:
The Current Issues Club pro-
vides a nonpartisan environment where a
respectful exchange of ideas among mem-
bers promotes discussion and a deeper
understanding of current issues.

The club membership selects the topic
from the current issues affecting the
world, nation, Texas and/or Sun City.
Research:
Members may delve into the
facts and fiction of the month’s topic and
prepare for discussions through the Re-
search Committee. Volunteers explore
the upcoming topics, post information on
the club’s website and open each program
with factual background for discussion.
Communication:
Check the Sun City
website for the club’s calendars, research
and topics.

All points of view and politi-
cal party affiliations are welcome. All
participants are required to observe the
adopted Courtesy Guidelines.
Small Discussions Groups:
Friday,
March 6, Cowan Creek Amenity Center.
Groups begin at 9 a.m. and end by 11:30
a.m. Members come when they can to
participate in less formal, small group
discussions. Topics vary, including local
issues, program follow-ups and program
preparation.
Guests:
Listeners are welcome. Guests
are invited to observe the discussion. If
time allows, guests may participate dur-
ing the last 15 minutes. Please consider
joining the club to participate in the
discussions and gain access to the club’s
research. Annual dues are $6.

Clogging is great
fun, good exercise and helps reinforce
memory skills.

2nd Chance Dance:

purpose of 2nd Chance Dance is to of-
fer the opportunity of fitness and fun as
you learn basic dance steps common to
all forms of dance. Students will learn
how to incorporate the basic steps into
choreographed routines. Come try it out!

The increasingly popular Bid Euchre will
join Traditional Euchre on Wednesdays
at 7 p.m.
A Hand and Foot Canasta Tournament
is scheduled for a Friday night in April
(TBD). Maximum 32 players. Cash prizes
will be awarded.
Monday night Hand and Foot Canasta
continues to draw crowds at 7 p.m. The
game is also played on Sundays at 2 p.m.
Beginners may get lessons (or
