The Solos are a club for everyone.
Seeking friendly people? They have
them in spades. Hankering for a diverse
range of activities? Not a problem here.
Just looking for some plain, old fun? The
Solos have got you covered!
Now, despite the name, you should
know that you don’t need to be single
to join. Solos is a chartered club, and
everyone is welcome to come on by and
have a good time. That’s right: contrary
to popular opinion, it is possible to be
married and have a good time.
Solos is a particularly good group
for those just settling into Sun City
Texas, as it provides newcomers with
a welcoming, laid-back environment in
which you can meet friendly, established
residents. It’s a casual group and you’ll
find everyone is open and glad to see
you.
For those considering the club, Solos
offers a nice feature they call “Try
Three for Free.” This little perk allows
potential members the opportunity
to attend up to three different Solos
functions before committing to a full-
fledged, dues-paying membership.
And believe me, there are no shortage
of events to choose from. There’s the
Thirsty Thursday outing which, oddly
enough, takes place on Thursday nights.
Daytrips are also a popular choice, and
will take you every place you can think
of in the Central Texas area. There
is also bowling, golf, card games and
over 18 SIGs, offering no shortage of
entertaining options for prospectives
and members alike.
