“You don’t quit playing softball be-
cause you get old; you get old because
you quit playing.”
As one of the few spectator sports in Sun
City Texas, we invite you to come watch,
come play, come have some fun at beauti-
ful Del Webb Field! The new grandstand
cover makes watching the games more
comfortable and enjoyable.
The fall season sign-up period ends on
August 15. Fall league games will be
played from September 8 to November
13 on Mondays and Thursdays. There
are also practice and pick-up games every
Tuesday and Friday beginning at 10 a.m.
There is also a very active, self-supporting
traveling team, the Sun City Warriors,
for the more competitive player.
As of July 1, annual club dues are $6 with
an additional $10 fee for each season.
Once you sign up, you will be assigned
to play as soon as possible.
We are proud to be part of the Sun City
Texas community. We support the Boys
&Girls Club of Georgetown, Georgetown
Police Blue Santa Program, and our Sun
City Texas veterans through the Fort
Hood Officers Spouses Club assisting
Fort Hood families.
For more information, and fun photos,
check out the Softball Club website.
