Fifty Shades! The Musical – Long Center
Dinner at Zed’s
Tuesday, June 3, $120 pp
Depart SCPL 4 p.m.; Return 10 p.m.
Small bus; only 25 tickets to be sold
Fifty Shades! TheMusical
is the hi-
larious unauthorized parody of the
Fifty Shades
of Grey
phenomenon. It premiers in Austin at
the Long Center in June, and we will go to see
this rambunctiously raunchy play, as well as
enjoy a delicious dinner at Zed’s before the play.
This play is a sexy, sometimes crude, musical romp, a laugh-
out-loud night of fun that you won’t want to miss. It opens with
three presumably suburban forlorn housewives, members of a
ladies book club, who decide to read the
Fifty Shades
trilogy.
Through their interpretation of the novels, the audience is led
on an uproarious roller coaster ride of this unlikely bestseller.
The show is full of dance numbers and original songs delivered
by an outrageous cast with a live, on-stage band.
Note: Be sure you are fully aware of the adult nature of
this performance before you purchase a ticket.
Before the show, we will have dinner at Zed’s Contemporary
American Restaurant beginning with their house salad. Entree
choices are grilled salmon or Parmesan cream chicken, both
served with smashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Round-
ing off this delicious meal is delectable chocolate mousse cake
for dessert.
Ticket cost includes transportation, dinner and play.
