“Youdon’t quit playing softball because
youget old; youget old because youquit
playing.”
As one of the few spectator sports in Sun
City Texas, we invite you to come watch,
come play, come have some fun—at beau-
tiful Del Webb Field! Check out the new
grandstand cover; it makes watching the
games more comfortable and enjoyable.
The spring season is under way and runs
throughMay. Games are onMondays and
Thursdays at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon,
and 1:30 p.m. There are also practice and
pick-up games every Tuesday and Friday
at 10 a.m.
There is a very active, self-supporting
traveling team—the Sun City Warriors—
for the more competitive player.
Annual dues are $12, with an additional
$10 for each season. Once you sign up,
you will be assigned a team.
We are proud to be part of the Sun City
Texas community. We support the Boys
& Girls Club of Georgetown, Georgetown
Police Blue Santa Program, and our Sun
City Texas veterans through the Fort
Hood Officers Spouses Club assisting Fort
Hood families.
For more information and fun photos,
check out the Softball Club website listed
above. Also check our bulletin board at
the ball park for schedules, standings,
photos and more.
