smiles on him when he receives a script
from Clifford Anderson, a man who at-
tended a playwriting seminar that Syd-
ney conducted at a local college. Sydney
immediately recognizes it as a sure hit.
With the help of his wife, Myra, Sydney
devises a plan to invite Clifford to his home
and offer to collaborate with the hope of
getting his name on it as co-author. Sus-
pense mounts steadily as the plot twists
and turns with devilish cleverness, thanks
in part to neighbor Helga Ten Dorp, a re-
nowned Dutch psychic. Audiences will be
held spellbound until the final startling
moments of the play.
Opening night is Tuesday, April 29 and the
play runs through Friday, May 2. Tickets
are available online, at the Member Ser-
vices Office, or at the door, if available.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the play begins
at 7 p.m., in the ballroom.

Deathtrap
, by Ira Levin, is an ingeniously
constructed play that offers gasp-inducing
thrills and spontaneous laughter. Sydney
Bruhl, a once-successful writer of Broad-
way thrillers, is struggling to overcome a
“dry spell,” which has resulted in a string
of failures and a shortage of funds. Fortune
