“Youdon’t quit playing softball because
youget old; youget old because youquit
playing.”
As one of the few spectator sports in Sun
City Texas, we invite you to come watch,
come play, come have some fun…at beau-
tiful Del Webb Field! Check out the new
grandstand cover – it makes watching the
games more comfortable and enjoyable.
The spring season is underway and runs
through May. Games are on Mondays
and Thursdays at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m.,
noon, and 1:30 p.m.
There are practice and pick-up games
every Tuesday and Friday at 10 a.m.
There is also a very active, self support-
ing Traveling Team—the Sun City War-
riors—for the more competitive player.
Annual dues are $12, with an additional
$10 for each season. Once you sign up you
will be assigned a team.
We are proud to be part of the Sun City
Texas community. We support the Boys
&Girls Club of Georgetown, Georgetown
Police Blue Santa Program, and our Sun
City Texas veterans through the Ft. Hood
Officers Spouses Club, assisting Ft. Hood
families.
For more information, and fun photos,
check out the Softball Club website. Also
check our bulletin board at the ball park
for schedules, standings, photos and more.
