Dance is to offer the opportunity of fitness
and fun as you learn basic dance steps
common to all forms of dance. Students
will learn how to incorporate the basic
steps into choreographed routines. Come

Current Issues Club

The Current Issues Club recently became
the 47th chartered club! Sun City Texas
was waiting for a discussion forum club,
as evidenced by 82 residents becoming
members in the first 83 days.
Mission:
The mission of the Club is
to provide a nonpartisan environment
where a respectful exchange of ideas
among members can promote discussion
and a deeper understanding of current
issues.
March Program: Should the Mini-
mumWage Be Replaced With a Liv-
ing Wage?
Members can participate in the discus-
sion after background information is pre-
sented. The club calendar will include
the topic of the month when the website
is set up by the CA.
SIGs:
Members only. SIGs are held the
first Friday of eachmonth in the Florence
and Georgetown rooms. This is a less
formal environment in which members
participate in discussions on current
issues including economics, education,
foreign policy, health and legislation.
Membership:
Membership has its privi-
leges and responsibilities. As a member,
you can participate in the monthly dis-
cussion, gain access to research collected
by members, attend SIG meetings and
membership meetings, and vote for of-
ficers.
Dues are $6 a year. Attendance is encour-
aged, but members are never required to
participate in the discussion. For more

The fourth quarter Hand and Foot Chal-
lenge ended December 30, 2013. The first
place winner was Barbara Dixon, second
place, Barbara Bigger and third place
went to Bill Bigger. Congratulations to
all! Over 70 players participated in this
Monday night game.
