paired with weekly weigh-ins, lectures
and helpful resources to meet your health
and fitness goals this March! This combi-
nation of nutrition guidance, motivation
and exercise is the sure way to lose weight
and get fit.
Option 1: Slim Down Aqua
• Monday & Friday, 10:30-11:15 a.m.
• Texas Drive Fitness Center
• 8 Slim Down Aqua classes plus weekly
seminars: $68, March 4-29
• A 45-minute aqua circuit workout
including cardio interval training,
muscle strengthening, core stability
and joint mobility.
Option 2: Slim Down Series
• Monday & Wednesday, 7-7:45 p.m.
• Cowan Creek Amenities Center
• 8 Slim Down classes plus weekly
seminars for only $68, March 4-27
• A beginning to intermediate circuit
workout which incorporates:
cardio interval training, muscle
strengthening, core stability and joint
mobility.
Option 3: Personal Trainer
• Any day of the week with a certified
personal trainer
• Texas Drive or Cowan Creek
• 4 30-minute sessions with a personal
trainer plus weekly seminars for only
$132, March 4-31
• Enjoy four one-on-one personalized
workouts with the personal trainer of
your choice.
*participants in all workout options will
join us for meetings on Wednesdays at
10 a.m.

As stated by the Centers for Disease Con-
trol and Prevention, strength training
has many benefits including improving
balance, reducing signs and symptoms of
numerous disease and chronic conditions,
arthritis relief, strengthening bones and
muscle, and improving mental and physi-
cal health. Strength training at least two
times a week will likely help improve your
posture and leave you feeling better able
to do many of your daily tasks.
To start strength training, visit us in a
Group Fitness class. In class, the instruc-
tor will help teach you new exercises and
how to perform them in a safe and effec-
tive manner.
Would you rather strength train on the
machines in the Fitness Center? If so, call
512-948-7751 to schedule a personal train-
ing appointment for as little as $23 per
session! A personal trainer can help you
set up an individualized strength train-
ing program to fit your needs and desires.
