The Woodworkers Club is open to all Sun
City residents of all skill levels. All new
members are required to take an Orienta-
tion and Safety Class, plus a one-on-one
Hands-on Safety Training/Review. Our
training classes and extensive library
help our members enjoy woodworking.
We have several main projects during the
year: “Toys for Tots,” to provide toys for
less fortunate children at Christmas; and
“Camp Discovery” to provide wooden kit
projects to an American Cancer Society
summer camp for children fighting can-
cer. To raise funds for these projects, we
do furniture repair for Sun City Texas
residents and participate at the fall Hill
Country Arts & Crafts Fair.
