Mac Basics

Two 2-hr Sessions

This course uses Apple's latest operating system to provide a basic knowledge of the Mac computer. If you don’t have the latest version on your computer or laptop, upgrade to it before taking this class!

Objectives

The class begins with a tour of the opening screen called the Desktop. From there, the class will cover the basic operations: 

• Files and folders
• Finder and its related window views with the menu and toolbar
• The Dock
• System Settings, default folders, and drag/drop procedures
• Fine-tuning some settings to fit your personal needs
• Introduction to Time Machine
• Manage computer storage
