iPad Basics

 One 2-hr Session

Prerequisite: You must update your iPad to the latest operating system (18.3, or the latest your iPad will support) BEFORE attending class, and bring your Apple ID with you as well.

Description 

You have an iPad but feel you're not getting full use out of it--you need to know more about its functions.  This course is where you start:  a hands-on workshop that allows you to practice and learn basic functions of the iPad.

Objectives 

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Manage iPad settings
• Understand the installed apps on the iPad
• Use the Files folder to save and retrieve information
• Learn to use the Notes to better keep track of information
• Set reminders
• Sync your iPhone and iPad
• Use FaceTime and iMessage
• Get tips for learning about your iPad after class is over
• Familiarize yourself with terminology
• Listen to audiobooks and music
