Hawaiian Luau - NEW!
Saturday, June 14, 5:30 p.m., LHPP, $15 pp*
The Hawaii Group of Sun City Texas is hav-
ing a real Hawaiian Luau (with warm Texas
breezes) at the Legacy Hills Park Pavilion on
Saturday, June 14, at 5:30 p.m. Local Hawaiian
foods will be served, including pulled pork, huli-
huli chicken, fried rice, salads, etc., as well as
punch, water and tea (this event is BYOB). There will be music,
a Hawaiian hula show and a hula lesson for all attendees, and
other great entertainment. Be ready for a surprise!
Tickets go on sale April 7. The cost of attendance is $15 per
person. You may only purchase a ticket for yourself and ONE
guest. The event is limited to 120 attendees. First come, first
serve! No refunds after June 10.

will be accepted. Checks are to be delivered to: Shirley
Miller, 107 Blanco Cove, where a sign-up sheet will be
available for you to print your name, phone number,
and email address. Please be sure to sign each name

Friends for life, three 60-something buddies
decide to throw the last remaining bachelor
in their group a bachelor party in Las Vegas.
It turns into a night of realities, hilarities and
good times.
Last Vegas (a comedy) is rated PG-13 for sexual content and
language. Running time is 105 minutes. Stars include Robert
De Niro, Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline.
Ticket cost includes beverage and snack. Feel free to bring your
own as well.
Memorial Day Ceremony
& Band Concert
Concert: Sunday, May 25, 7 p.m., VMP
Ceremony: Monday, May 26, 9:30 a.m., VMP
The annual Memorial Day Ceremony, honoring
the men and women of our armed forces who
have given their lives in service to our country,
will be held at the Veterans Memorial Plaza
on Monday, May 26. The ceremony will begin
at 9:30 a.m. The guest speaker will be Dr. Charles Schwertner,
our Texas State Senator. Music will the provided by the 36th
Infantry Division Band of the Texas Army National Guard.
The band will also present a concert at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May
25 at theMemorial. Everyone is invited to both events, so put the

ranges of emotions and musical styles. “Feel-
ing blue” is voiced in songs whose verses cry
injustice or express longing for something lost
or not attained. Ablues performance is allowing
the listener and the performer the ability to overcome sadness
and lose the blues.
Master guitarist/vocalist WCClark—known as “The Godfather
of Austin Blues”—has been playing the blues right and cleansing
souls from the east side of Austin to stages around the world
