It is that time of year to mark your calendar for the annual Sun
City Texas deer census. The Wildlife Management Committee
will be conducting the deer census August 13-15. Reserve dates,
in case of bad weather, will be August 16-17. Additional street
routes have been added this year due to the completion of new
neighborhoods, which will require additional volunteers to con-
duct the census adequately. We anticipate needing 80 volunteers
this year. Please mark on your calendar the deer census dates
and look for specific sign-up details in the August

The Sun City Texas Resource Guide
& Directory will be available begin-
ning July 1 in two locations: the So-
cial Center Lobby and Cowan Creek
Amenity Center. The schedules are
different for each location, so please
check the schedule for the location you
choose. Each household receives one
“New” SCT Resource Guide & Direc-
tory. Please bring your old directory to
turn in when you receive your new one
so that we can shred to protect your information.
• You must bring your ID Badge or a Driver’s License to pick
up your directory. You will also need to sign for it at the time
of pick up. Even though the person handing these out may
know you, ID is required. This is to protect your information.
• If you are out of town or not able to pick one up during this
week, the books will be available at the monitor’s desk in the
Social Center lobby after this week.
• Please support our advertisers whenever possible. Their par-
ticipation pays for this book and makes it available to you
free of charge.
