The 28th annual Bluebonnet Air Show is being conducted in Burnet on Saturday, September 14th. The show offers a great opportunity to see many airplanes on the ground. Everything from WWII transport planes to trainers. Additionally we'll see aerobatics, pyrotechnics, formation flying and skydivers. This years show is being advertised as WINGS & WHEELS. So we can look forward to seeing the Lake Area Rods & Classics Club car show. Which will include a jet fueled dragster. Plan on attending. Burnet is only about 50 miles from here Admission: Adults $15. Seniors (60+) $10 Active military $10 Bring your lawn chair. Admission includes air show and car show. Don't forget your camera Gates open at 9am. Lets plan on meeting in the parking lot, behind the tennis courts. We'll meet at 7:45 and leave here at 8am allowing us time to get there just as the gates open. Getting there when the gates open allows us to take pictures of the planes and cars before the crowd get there.. |
