Travel into the southern regions of the Hill Country where tales of history, holiday lights and seasonal finery will set the stage for a festive day of Christmas shopping. Our first stop, the Boerne Christmas Market, features more than 100 festive booths displaying everything from holiday collectables and remembrances of the past to modern innovations that will bring a smile of wonder. Our next stop, Boerne's famous Hill Country Mile, is but a stroll away and showcases more than 140 historic structures that have been lovingly restored and re-purposed as cafes, bakeries, antique malls, boutiques and art galleries. Supplied with a bit of local history, menus and maps, you will have 3½ hours to browse, sample, and taste the yuletide offerings this wonderful town has to offer. To add a final glow to your day of shopping, we will make a stop in Johnson City to view the holiday light displays, visit the First Methodist Church's Living Nativity Pageant and finish with sweet treats and hot chocolate.
