Enjoy Texas bluebonnets and wildflowers as we travel to the Lyndon B. Johnson Ranch in Stonewall.  President Johnson who was born, lived, died and was buried at the LBJ Ranch dedicated the ranch by saying, “All are welcome here.”  A walking tour of the Johnson family home, known as the Texas White House, will be followed by a walking tour of the ranch at our own pace. Sites include the President’s birthplace, Johnson family cemetery, and the one room school house. The National Park Service maintains a herd of Hereford cattle descended from Johnson’s registered herd; longhorn cattle roam freely on the grounds.

After the tours we will take a quick bus ride into Johnson City to enjoy lunch on your own at Pecan Street Brewing on the Courthouse Square.  Rated #1 eatery in Johnson City by TripAdvisor this year, menu items include salads, burgers, pizza and of course, chicken fried steak and sweet fried chicken. We will have time to view the Blanco County Courthouse and enjoy meandering on Main Street. Shopping venues located on the Square including Black Spur, Emporium, Stidham Outfitters and Vintage 205.

Ticket cost includes transportation and tour.
