Following dinner we will go to Bates Recital Hall to enjoy
the University of Texas Symphony Orchestra with Maestro
Gerhardt Zimmerman, Artistic Director since 2006. One of
the top college orchestras in the nation, the UTSO is a full-
sized modern symphony orchestra with 60 to 90 performers, the
exact number depending upon the needs of the repertoire. This
evening’s repertoire includes Rachmaninoff: Symphony No. 2,
Strauss: Feierlicher Einzug, and Mozart: Sinfonia Concertante,
K 297b Major. We are fortunate to have this exceptional talent,
a hidden gem for music lovers, so close to Sun City!

Ticket cost includes transportation, dinner and concert.

Esther’s Follies - NEW!

Dinner – P. F. Chang’s
Thursday, Oct. 1, $72 pp
Depart SCPL 4:45 p.m.; Return 10:30 p.m.

                                  Our evening will start with an
                     exceptional dining experience at the highly
                     rated P.F. Chang’s China Bistro in downtown
                     Austin. Family style dining features the
                     following: lettuce wraps, crab wontons, egg drop
soup, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, crispy honey chicken,
Chang’s spicy chicken and assorted desserts. A cash bar will be
available with happy hour prices for a beverage of your choice.
Coffee, tea, tax and gratuities included.

After dinner, we will board our motor coach and go to Esther’s
Follies for non-stop laughter. This show is a good mix of skits
featuring timely current events, magic that will amaze you,
great music and incredible costumes – all with a Texas-size
sense of humor. We have offered Esther’s Follies since 2009 and
many residents have returned many times. Esther’s Follies never
disappoints! The material is fresh, funnier than ever and will
provide an evening of true entertainment and hearty laughter.
Esther’s has been the “talk of the town” for years. If laughter is
good for the soul, this show will add years to your life.
