insured for alcohol consumption on
the bus.
• Glass drinking containers are not
permitted on the bus.
• Bus outings first appear in the Sun Rays three months
prior to the month of the event.

Oct. 21; Josh Groban on Oct. 23; State Fair on Oct. 8

Open Seating Cabaret Style
Austin has been home to a chapter of the
Barbershop Harmony Society since 1961. In
the past four decades, the Austin Chord Ranger
Chorus and Quartets have performed around
town thousands of times. Hundreds of local
singers have joined in the fun as the group has encouraged and
preserved the uniquely American art form known as Barbershop
Music. Now the Rangers have a new name and a new vision
which is called A Capella Texas.

Comedy – Romance movie with Hugh Grant and
Marisa Tomei. An Oscar-winning writer in a

Shopping Extravaganza!

Come enjoy the Boutique Bazaar on Friday,
Aug. 7! Boutique-type stores/businesses and
franchise jewelers will be showing their wares
in the ballroom for you to browse and/or buy!
This event was formerly the Jewelry Bazaar,
but has expanded from jewelry to also include
purses, scarves and more!

Folkwine is a trio that specializes in tight
harmony, with a unique set list consisting of
songs from classic artists such as Peter, Paul
& Mary, The Kingston Trio, Gordon Lightfoot,
Marty Robbins, The Everly Brothers, and Ian
& Sylvia. They also mix in songs from popular acts from the
1970s such as John Denver, The Marshall Tucker Band, Bob
Seeger, and The Eagles . . . as well as their own fine originals.
The trio consists of Buenger Dickson (tenor guitar), Les Newcomb
(six & twelve string guitar), and Joe Blanda (lead & slide guitar).
