BROTHERS CELEBRATE 64th wedding anniversaries!
Brothers Ed and Howard Konetchy recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversaries with dinner at Longhorn Steak-
house. Ed married his love, Janice, and Howard married his sweetheart, Barbara, in August of 1950. Ed and Howard and
their wives moved into their Sun City homes in December of 1997. Shown left to right: Howard and Barbara Konetchy;

WATCHING THE PROS
A few members of the Sun City Texas Tennis Association had an opportunity to watch Andy Roddick, Marion Bartoli and
Vera Zvonareva, to name a few, at the Mylan World Team Tennis event held at the Cedar Park Recreation Center. The
Austin-based tennis team (Austin Aces) played a round of men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles and
mixed doubles matches against the Boston Lobsters. It was a great evening of tennis!
